Corona 2nd Wave Effect: 50% Occupancy From 15th!

With the state witnessing a surge in Covid-19 cases, the Telangana High Court on Tuesday questioned the TRS government why no restrictions were imposed on pubs, bars and cinema Theatres. As per reports, chief minister KCR is discussing to introduce crowd control measures. Buzz is that the government is expected to have a press-meet soon, to announce measures.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife with the reports that only 50 percent seating occupancy is allowed from 15th of this month due to corona second wave. Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has called for a press meet this afternoon.

Buzz is that, makers of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Love Story are mulling over postponing the film’s release. Love Story was supposed to release on 16th of this month. But, if only 50% is allowed in Theatres, they would definitely postpone the film. Moreover, family audiences are not keen on coming to Theatres due to upsurge in corona cases.

Not just Love Story, corona second wave will cause delay in many films which were announced for release in summer. Filmmakers of these films are waiting for announcement from Telangana government.

Most probably, the government will make announcement on new measures to contain corona in one or two days!
