Actress Prefers Dad Over Pawan Kalyan!

Shruti Haasan recently missed the pre-release function of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab. Shruti Haasan has played an extended cameo as Pawan Kalyan’s wife in the film and there was a romantic song between the two. However, many wondered why the actress skipped the event when she is not getting many offers in Telugu of late.

In fact, Shruti Haasan got first break with Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh. It is learnt that, the actress had informed her makers that she won’t be taking part in movie promotions as she needed to be her father Kamal Haasan’s side ahead and during Tamil Nadu elections.

Kamal Haasan who is the founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam had a minor injury to his leg while campaigning for the Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu. The veteran actor contested from the Coimbatore South assembly constituency. Both his daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan accompanied Kamal to cast vote yesterday.

Since Kamal Haasan needed help as he is suffering from leg injury, both his daughters were with him for last few days. She doesn’t really have any other intentions to skip Vakeel Saab promotions.

As is known, Nivetha Thomas tested corona positive recently and she too is not taking part in Vakeel Saab promotions. She attended music fest of the film along with director and other team.
