Hyderabad, Aug 14:
The Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, will visit New Delhi on Sunday to participate in the Chief Ministers’ conference.
The Chief Ministers’ conference will be addressed by the Supreme Court Chief Justice.
The conference will discuss on the steps to be taken for speedy disposal of pending cases in the courts. The conference would also discuss on ways to set up village courts mooted by the state governments.
The Chief Minister will meet the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, on Monday and brief him on drought situation in the state. He would seek the Centre’s help in tiding over the drought situation in the state.
The Prime Minister will also discuss naxalism affected states and internal security scenario in the country.
