Puri Didn't Want To Miss The Film With Pawan

Power Star Pawan Kalyan romanced Bollywood beauties Amisha Patel and Renu Desai in romantic musical action entertainer Badri under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. The film turned out to be a blockbuster and apart from it, love blossomed between Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desi which resulted in their marriage.

The film recently completed two decades and in the midst of all this, Puri Jagannadh revealed many interesting things about it. The film starred Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel in the roles of Vennela and Sarayu.

Puri revealed that initially, he finalized Renu Desai for the role of Sarayu. He said however Pawan Kalyan after observing the bubbly attitude of Renu Desai recommended Renu's name for the role of Vennela and Puri also agreed to interchange the roles.

Puri said however he did not listen to Pawan Kalyan regarding climax. He said he went to Pawan's house at 4 AM early morning and he gave only 30 minutes' time. He said he narrated continuously for four hours and Pawan kept on listening to the narration. He said though he loved the story, he asked to make changes in the climax. Puri said he came out in a happy mood that Pawan okayed the film.

He started working on the climax. Though he worked for more than a week, he did not get an alternate climax. He met Pawan and when Pawan asked 'What happened. Did you change the climax' Puri told ' I tried? But I did not like the new version'.

Pawan then told him 'I wanted to see whether you will change the climax for me or not. The earlier climax was good'. Then Pawan shocked asking 'It seems you told Chota another story. The story you narrated is completely different'. Puri confessed "I narrated this for the fear of losing the opportunity".
