Home Ministry Serious Action on 960 Foreigners

The union home ministry found out 960 Foreigners visited India through tourist visas and involved in the activities of Tablighi Jamaat. Furthermore, the MHA has decided to initiate a necessary legal action on them. 

Also, the MHA made it clear that a total of 9000 people were quarantined of which 1306 are Foreigners. Delhi's Markaz had about 2000 Jamaat workers (250 Foreigners), out of which 1804 have been quarantined. 334 people who were symptomatic have been hospitalized. 

"It was observed it took 60 days for India to get 1000 corona positive cases. However, within four days later, the number was almost doubled and all this was happened due to Nizamuddin meeting conducted by Tablighi Jamaat," say analysts. 

In the meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi would release a short video message on ongoing lockdown at 9 am on 3rd of April.
