There is no denying the fact that movie lovers throng theatres to watch the heroics of their favorite stars. However at the same time they also long and crave for sumptuous and glamorous beauty treat on screen.
This is promoting the makers and stars to cast new stunning beauties in each of their films without repeating the old faces. But the beauty treat on silver screen is making many wonder whether the makers are beautifying the film or objectifying the heroines in the name of providing glamour feast to audience.
Though heroines and makers are going on record that they are including intimate scenes, liplocks, romantic scenes and bikini, swimsuit scenes as the story demands, everyone is aware that one can complete these films without those scenes at all.
Then makers come with the excuse that they are including those scenes as movie lovers are watching them. The question is what is beautifying actually. In the olden days, there are many actresses who in traditional outfits used to give sleepless nights. One killer expression from the likes of Savitri, Jamuna, Krishna Kumari, Anjali Devi used to drive fans crazy.
Now in the name of beauty treat, makers and the heroines are crossing the thin redline. Analysts say they are just trying to cash in to the weakness of the youngsters. Others say since the current generation heroines do not know A, B, C, D of acting and cannot come anywhere near the yesteryear legendary actresses and since the situation is same with the makers as they cannot come with powerful storylines like the yesteryear legendary directors, they are just trying to make it up by indulging in skin show and objectifying in the name of beautifying.
