Rajini, NTR To Power That Film

Filmmakers across the country are trying their best to cross Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali which set a new benchmark at the  box office. After Baahubali, South is now coming up with two high profile films Sanghamitra in Tamil and Odiyan in Malayalam. Sanghamitra however got shelved due to financial problems, wherein Odiyan featuring Malayalam super star Mohan Lal is progressing at a brisk pace under VA Srikumar Menon's direction. 

The film is said to be made with a budget of Rs 150crs and wrapped up its shooting within 145 days. Currently post production is on. Odiyan is based on the legend of Odiyan, who in Kerala folklore are men possessing shapeshifting abilities, who could assume animal form. Odiyans are said to have inhabited the Malabar region of Kerala before the era of electricity. 

Now inside talk is Super Star Rajinikanth and Young Tiger NTR is getting ready to power the prestigious venture. Buzz is while Rajini will give voice over to Odiyan Tamil version; NTR will do the same for the Telugu version. Mohan Lal is planning to increase craze for the film with the help of top stars in Tamil and Telugu and the filmmakers are hoping that Rajini, NTR's promotions will take the film to another level. Mammootty is giving voice over to the Malayalam version.
