Nithya Menon is one of the finest actors in South India and the actress is picking only films which give her maximum credit than protagonist present in them. Surprisingly, Nithya missed two great opportunities for which she would be crying now.

Very few people are aware of the news that, Nithya Menon was the original choice to play legendary actress Savitri in Mahanati. However, when Nithya refused the offer owing to reasons best known to her, they then approached Keerthy Suresh who mesmerized all by portraying the role convincingly.

Post release of Mahanati, Keerthy Suresh is flooded with offers from top production houses in Tollywood as well as Kollywood. What if Nithya Menon had accepted to star as Savitri in Mahanati?

Nithya Menon who lacks film offers would become busy yet again. More importantly, she would be approached for women centric films, like how filmmakers only considered Anushka for such movies until recently.

On the other hand, Nithya Menon missed another great chance to star in Balakrishna’s dream project NTR biopic. Titled NTR, the film to be directed by Krish will start rolling later this month.

After Nithya refused the offer in NTR, they zeroed in Bollywood actress Vidya Balan to play the role of Basavatarakam, NTR’s wife.

Interim, Nithya Menon is willing to make her directorial debut. The actress is said to be working on a script now.
