Filmfare Loses Credibility for No Award to Pawan!

'The 61st Filmfare Awards South' distribution ceremony was held on Saturday, 12th of July in Chennai. Filmfare, earlier has the track record of maintaining transparency of giving away the awards to the deserved actors and technicians. Unfortunately, they seem to have lost their credibility for not conferring the awards to the right actors in 61st awards ceremony. 

Prior to the awards function, some of the reputed web media and other media sources conducted online polls with the question, " Who will be the best actor of 61st Filmfare awards?". Power Star Pawan Kalyan had showed clear domination with high percentage of votes than other actors for his performance in 'Atharintiki Daredi'. Even then, Pawan Kalyan was not conferred the best actor award. 

Inside sources speculate that some of the artists who got best awards are the brand ambassadors of 'Idea' which also sponsors 'Filmfare' awards. They also felt that some artists and technicians have become crazy about awards which affected the transparency of reputed award agencies. Another anomaly noticed in awards function is that, Sunil played one of the heroes, role in 'Tadakha'. But then, he was given best supporting actor. It's definitely a humiliation for him.

On the other hand, sources close to the organizers revealed that Pawan Kalyan was conferred as best actor for 'Gabbar Singh' last year. Even then, he could not attend the function. Even if he is announced as the best actor award this year, he may not grace the occasion and so they opted for other choices. Anyways, an injustice is done in the case of Pawan Kalyan.
