Hyderabad,Nov 10: Concentrating on the slums and promising them the basic amenities the Communist party of India launched their campaign in the capital on Tuesday for the ensuing greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation  elections.Targeting the 1485 slums in the capital they  promised to secure pattas to the slum dwellers and pacca houses to all those who do not have any houses Making tall promises,the party released its manifesto on Tuesday.The manifesto was released by the Rajya Sabha member,Mr Aziz Pasha,and city party secretary,Mr Bose here today.


The party criticized the Governmen’s unscientific way of collecting the property tax.It assured support to small vendors in their business transactions.Referring to the transportation system in the city the party emphasized the need that the  light rail should cover all parts of the city and escalators should be set up at all foot over-bridges,for the convenience of the aged.Increasing super specialty facilities in government hospitals, increasing the number of beds in all the government hospitals, setting up of one degree college, one government hospital,one old age home and an orphanage are among the programmes proposed to be implemented by the party. The party mentioned in its manifesto that they would  take  up the cause of all eligible families  who do  not have white  ration cards.
