Stressing the importance of small states for administrative convenience, the Telangana Telugu Desam Forum members on Saturday left for New Delhi in a special train to stage a dharna before the residence of Congress president Sonia Gandhi on October 25.

Talking to media persons before boarding the train at Secunderabad station, Forum convener Nagam Janardhan Reddy said “Our main intention to going towards New Delhi is to mount pressure on Congress leaders to introduce a separate Bill for Telangana in Parliament. Only by introducing a Bill, the Telangana state can be achieved and aspirations of people fulfilled.”
