“Pravarakhyudu” and “Sarai Veerraju” are historical movies.

Every person born on Telugu land will be aware of King Sri Krishnadevaraya and one among his court poets Allsani Peddana. This great personality Allasani Peddana’s creation was the character of “Pravarakhyudu” in his all time great Prabhandham “Manu Charitra”. There won’t be any Telugu artist who hasn’t heard of romance between Pravarakhyudu and Varudhini. Filmnagar sources say that, Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani starring “Pravarakhyudu” will have at least few common threads with “Manu Charitra” as Director Madan is among those directors who love to see perfect Telugu flavor in his movies.

Next film “Sarai Veerraju” is openly known to many that this is a movie based on Raavi Shastri that is Raachakonda Vishwanatha Shastri’s Short Stories (Kathanika) “Aaru Saaraa Kathalu.” These short stories possess a great prominence in Telugu literature and remained as historical evidence in development of novel concepts in Telugu language. If “Manu Charitra” is great in its own perspective, “Aaru Saaraa Kathalu” is a wonder in other perspective.
