He said the Srivari Seegra Darshan programme was rechristened as Srivari Special Darshan.

Mr Krishna Rao said the TTD has decided to implement Srivari Laghu Darshan on Tuesday and Wednesday from now onwards on trial basis. Under the system, devotees are allowed to have the darshan of the presiding deity from a distance i.e., Jaya and Vijaya point.

He said the management was contemplating to drastically reduce the issuance of VIP break darshan tickets and utilise the darshan timings thus saved, for the benefit of the ordinary pilgrims.

The EO said the management was exploring ‘ways and means' to get closer to the ordinary pilgrims by streamlining the administration.
