Samantha lavishes praise on co-stars

Back in the earlier days, many in and out of the film industry had a false preconceived notion that two top heroines can never get along with each other. Actresses like Samantha, Rakul Preet, Kajal, Tamannaah and Rashi Khanna have proved that professional rivalry need not  always come in the way of the camaraderie that they share. The episodes in Samantha’s Sam Jam talk show for Aha have further validated the same.

Samantha, who is currently shooting for her Tamil film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by Gang, Nenu Rowdy Ne filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, is all praise for her co-stars in the film, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. “I’ve always wanted to work with the fierce #Nayantara and the mighty @actorvijaysethupathi.. so I can’t tell you how much of a ball I am having working with the both of them together... Midway through shoot and I can safely say this one is going to be a riot,” she posted on her Instagram profile.

All the actors in the film, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Samantha are at the peak of their careers and it’s possibly the best combination that a director can dream of. The film is expected to have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil later this year. Besides, Samantha is working next on Gunashekhar’s Shakuntalam and is awaiting the release of her web series debut in summer, the second season of The Family Man, where she’s playing an antagonist.
