Any director would be delighted to direct Super Star Mahesh Babu. Sukumar who missed out the golden chance when Mahesh Babu offered him 1-Nenokkadine which turned out to be a disaster, got another chance to make amends with him. Sukumar after creating a sensation with Ram Charan's Rangasthalam got the golden opportunity to direct Mahesh Babu for the second time.
Already it is more than a year when Sukumar-Mahesh's project was discussed. However till now Sukumar did not ready the story. It is known that Sukumar narrated a story through which he planned to show Mahesh fighting against Nizam rule taking on the razakars. But with Mahesh not keen to star in such a plot, Sukumar readied another story in the backdrop of red sanders smugglers.
Though Mahesh gave green signal after getting excited, Sukumar is yet to ready the full script. When Mahesh asked him to come up with bounded script by April, he sought another six months time giving him a huge shock.
So Mahesh is now looking for other directors like Anil Ravipudi who scored a hit with F2. Even directors like Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Tharun Bhaskar of Arun Reddy and Pelli Choopulu fame are waiting in the wings.
Inside talk is Sukumar is shocking with his actions by concentrating on launching various projects with other producers looking for side income. Many are criticizing Sukumar's actions after scoring a blockbuster like Rangasthalam.
