Vijay Antony Hints At Quitting Films For Village Life

Tamil actor and music director Vijay Antony surprised fans with his latest comments. He said he plans to leave Chennai and move to a rural area in the next three years. Known for picking different stories and unique roles, Vijay Antony has built a strong place among South Indian audiences.
At a promotion event for his new film Nooru Saami / Vanda Devullu he spoke about his simple lifestyle and love for village life. He mentioned that city life does not attract him much. He was inspired by industrialist Sridhar Vembu who moved out of the city and settled in a village. Vijay Antony wants to follow the same path and live a peaceful life away from noise.
He shared that most of Nooru Saami was shot in Kallakuruchi area. During the shoot he liked the warmth of local people and their natural way of living. He said clean air, calm atmosphere and close bonds between people are hard to find in cities. His comments started talk about whether he will quit films completely.
Vijay Antony did not announce retirement directly. Fans think he may reduce the number of films after finishing his current projects. Nooru Saami is made with director Shashi after their hit Picchaikaran also called Bichagadu in Telugu. The new film is releasing worldwide on June 19 and has an emotional story.
