The court in Vijayawada has directed the police to arrest controversial director Ram Gopal Varma and Producer Dasari Kiran Kumar in related to a case filed on Vangaveeti movie. Vangaveeti Radha objected to the film saying that the history is tampered against his father, Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga.
They allege that the distorted facts damage the reputation of their family. The court ordered the police to register FIR and arrest director Varma and producer Kiran Kumar. Interestingly, Vangaveeti has ended up as a massive disaster at the box office.
The movie barely sustained even in the first weekend itself. It was expected to create big sensation and controversy when released. Many even worried if it will create rifts between the castes. But nothing such sort happened and only the makers are troubled.
