
Legendary director Darshakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao's sudden demise shocked Megastar Chiranjeevi who is currently in China. Chiranjeevi, however, sent a message of condolence to the media.
"I can't digest the news of sudden demise of Dasari Narayanara Rao garu. Owing to his illness, I, myself, visited his house and and gave away 'Allu Ramalingaiah Award' to him. He looked healthy and had a prolonged conversation with me. Right now, I am in China. Dasari garu' death is an irrecoverable loss to whole industry. His services to industry as a director-producer are indefinable. Although he is not with us physically, his services to industry are always remembered by us," said Chiranjeevi. Mega Power Star Ram Charan also expressed his grief with the legendary director's demise.
Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna, who was in Portugal, also expressed his condolences. "Dasari garu showed new path to Telugu industry. My deepest condolences to his family members. I pray his soul rests in peace," said Balakrishna.
