Terminating the services of Kusuma Kumari, as vice-chancellor of Sri Krishna Devaraya University is a case of vindictive affair, alleged former minister Konda Surekha here on Tuesday. Just because she happened to be a relative of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, she was victimised, she said.

Referring to the poll results in the just concluded by-elections, she observed ``had Jagan been allowed to tour Telangana during the Odarpu Yatra, the results should have been different.

Referring to the resignation of PCC  president D Srinivas, she noted that the elections were held in altogether a  different atmosphere so the PCC president need not resign. The State Congress is lacking proper leadership. So the High Command  should set it right,  she felt.

On the latest developments in the state, she said she wrote a 11-page letter to  Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. ''I do not like to reveal the contents,'' she added.

The removal of Ambati Rambabu from  PCC secretaryship is done in a very unfair manner. All those who are close to Jagan are being sidelined. In fact, we do not know whether we are in the opposition party or with the ruling party. Had we been in the opposition, at least we  should have criticised the Government  for the policies they are adopting, she  bemoaned.
