Hyderabad, Jan 2: In what appears to be a patch up effort, the beleaguered Information Technology Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy on Saturday met the Chief Minister K Rosaiah.Accompanied by his Cabinet colleague and close associate, Mr D Sridhar Babu, the IT Minister met Rosaiah in his chamber and explained to the Chief Minister about his scathing remarks against him.

The meeting assumed significance as the Congress High Command issued a show-cause notice to him following a complaint by Rosaiah himself demanding that he explain over his remarks against the Chief Minister.Komatireddy is reported to have accused Rosaiah of acting in a partisan manner as if he was ruling over a part of Andhra Pradesh and taking decisions unilaterally harming the interests of the other regions. He also criticized the Chief Minister for belittling the Telangana agitation.

Taking exception to his comments seriously, the high command issued a show-cause notice to the Minister for his indiscipline. According to sources, the Minister reportedly stated that he did not pass any personal remarks against the Chief Minister.The Ministers also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister urging him to allow the student carry on with the proposed Vidyarthi Garjana on Jan 3.
