Venkatesh to play Vivekananda on small screen

Venkatesh is set to make his small screen debut through a serial to be made based on the life of Swamy Vivekananda. JK Bharavi, who penned scripts for Annamayya and Sriramadasu, is the writer for the film. D Suresh Babu will produce the serial.
Though, the makers initially wanted to make it as a film, they couldn’t do so as they find it difficult to tell everything in just two and a half hours. Neelakanta of the Show and Missamma fame is set to direct the serial.
