Penguin Teaser Review: Spine-Chilling

Keerthy Suresh’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual mystery thriller Penguin was supposed to release in summer. But due to coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the release got postponed and forced makers o opt for direct OTT release. The film directed by debutante Eshavar Karthic and produced by Karthik Subbaraj is scheduled to release on 19 June 2020 on Amazon Prime Video.

Today, Penguin teaser has been released. The teaser is very intriguing and gives us insight into the plot. Going by the teaser, the film is all about the suffering of a married women after her kid goes missing and is found dead. The last portions where the psycho killer is introduced are spine-chilling.

The psycho killer is seen wearing mask and is killing a kid brutally. Eshavar Karthic seems to be narrating a novel subject. Cinematography of Kharthik Phalani is authentic while Santhosh Narayanan’s background score brings life to the visuals.
