Ankith Koyya, Nilakhi Patra's romantic entrainer Beauty directed by J S S Vardhan is releasing on 19 September 2025. The OTT rights of Beauty are yet to be finalized. Let us find out what Beauty offered to movie lovers in the theatres.
Beauty story revolves around two youngsters who fall in love and the developments in the aftermath. Alekhya (Nilakhi Patra), a young and bubbly girl falls for youngster Arjun (Ankith Koyya) who shows concern for her which she misses in her house sometimes.
Soon some circumstances force her to take a drastic decision. What are the consequences and where this leads to and that role Alekhya's father Narayana(Sr Naresh), mother Janaki (Vasuki Anand), Rohit (Nitin Prasanna), Cops Prasad (Muralidhar Goud), Imran form rest of the developments.
Ankith Koyya performed well in his role. He showed variations in his role to take everyone by surprise. He showed innocence as a lover boy and also impresses with his transformation. His body language and his screen presence is good. He delivered dialogues with ease showing good expressions and emotions.
Nilakhi Patra looked good on the green. She looked cute and beautiful and expressed herself with eyes and smiles. She looked bubbly on the screen and emoted well. She came up with good dialogues and connected chords with the viewers. She cast a magic spell with her looks and performance.
Sr Naresh once again came up with terrific performance. As the father he elevated the scenes with his screen presence and carried the film to the next level. Vasuki Anand did well as the caring and protective mother. Nanda Gopal as Rama Rao, the neighbor performed well. Nitin Prasanna made his presence felt as the antagonist. Muralidhar Goud is good as the cop and others perfromed according to their roles.
Baby story is penned by JSS.Vardhan. He came up with a love story and tried in surprise all with couple of shocking twists. To some extent he made an impact. For the entire first half, he showcased father's love towards his daughter and mother's care and her own fears about her. The blossoming of love story between the lead pair is shown in an interesting manner. Though many feel the scenes are predictable and routine, he ensured with his story and screenplay, viewers interest levels are not dipped.
This sets ths stage for the second half and he showed the twists in the love story and the police investigation in a realistic way. The way director Vardhan elevated the father-daughter relationship, mother's anger when daughter does something wrong and father going all out for his daughter is shown in a natural way.
Viewers will be reminded of many yesteryear hit films but still the movie impresses viewers with the decent story, screenplay and direction. Dialogues are touching and emotional. The music of Vijay Bulganin is situational. The songs he tuned are according to the story and proceedings and blended well. He made an impact with his background music. He added value to the narration with the background music. Shrie Saikumaar Daara with his cinematography brought in natural feel to the narration showing the locations in a realistic way. Editing of SB.Uddhav is quite good except for few drags here and there. Production values are good.
Altogether, Beauty is a romantic entrainer that comes with a shocking twist. Director J S S Vardhan though came up with a predictable story, he included a couple of twists to surprise all. He got the optimum performances from the cast and crew. He blended the first half romantic elements and father-daughter bonding well to touch the hearts of all. The screenplay and direction is intact. The director Vardhan also sent a message to the youngsters and especially girls, not to get carried away by the sweet nothings and charms that are woven around them. A little fine-tuning of the script and few more interesting elements would have taken the film to another level. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2.5 rating for Beauty.
