Salman Khan is currently down and depressed as his recent entertainer Radhe which released amidst huge expectations turned out to be a disaster. Salman Khan who revived his career by remaking Mahesh Babu's blockbuster film Pokiri as Wanted is now planning to do another remake film.

It is known that Ramesh Varma who scored a hit with Bellamkonda Srinivas' Rakshasudu, a remake of Tamil hit Ratchasan is now directing Mass Raja Raviteja in Khiladi. Khiladi teaser got a tremendous response and it reached even Bollywood. Salman Khan showered praises on the teaser and inside talk is he acquired the remake rights of Khiladi.

Now reports are coming that Salman Khan asked Ramesh Varma to direct the Khiladi Hindi version. Rumors have it that the film is a remake of Tamil hit Sathuranga Vettai. However, Ramesh Varma rubbished all the rumors and said he got inspired by a point in Sathuranga Vettai. Khiladi got a whopping Rs 45 crs from a top OTT but the makers rejected the deal. They are of the opinion that the film will become a big hit if released in theatres.

Raviteja is seen in two roles and is romancing two heroines Dimple Hayathi and Meenakshi Chowdhary as Khiladi. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the film which stars Arjun and Unni Mukandan in important roles.
