"The death of renowned director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao garu deeply touched me. He was very close to our family. Together with him, we made three different classic films — 'Aditya 369'. It brought a new identity not only to Telugu cinema but also to Indian cinema. 'Bhairava Dweepam' created history at the box office and is still an unmatched film in the folk film category. Also, 'Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam' was made as a mythological film. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao garu started his film journey as an assistant director to the great actor K.V. Reddy garu. My father played the role of Lord Krishna for the first time in the immortal film 'Mayabazaar' directed by him. Later, Singeetham garu worked as an associate for many films that my father acted in. That is why his connection with our family was not limited to films only. His death is a personal loss for me. I pray that his soul may rest in peace. "I express my heartfelt condolences to his family members," he said.
