Chandrayaan First Signal Teaser Introduces a Crazy Moon Mission

The First Signal teaser of Chandrayaan has unveiled a quirky comedy adventure rooted in Telangana. Presented by Venu Udugula after Raju Weds Rambai, the film follows three ordinary youngsters whose extraordinary ambition leads them toward an unbelievable mission: building a homemade rocket in Mandamarri and attempting to reach the moon.
The teaser expands the film’s eccentric premise with experiments involving everyday objects, including bike tyres, pressure cookers and dumbbells. The youngsters even create their own humorous version of ISRO, calling it “MSRO,” while their unconventional preparations reportedly include attempting to send a chicken into space. The resulting chaos promises plenty of comedy.
Chandrayaan features Shiva Kumar Dheekonda, Swapna Priyadarshini, Ravi Sivateja, Vamsidhar, Lokesh and Balagam Satyanarayana. Praveen Molaka produces the film under Simba Screen Stories, while Srinath Chandrasekhar handles direction, story, screenplay and dialogues. Harsha Praveen composes the music, with Srinivasa B. as cinematographer and Pullarao Dasari as editor.
The film’s Telangana flavour, village setting and unusual space adventure premise distinguish it from conventional Telugu comedy stories. Earlier promotional material also featured the Telangana rooted song “Rama Rama Rama Uyyaalo,” sung by Kanakavva, Srinija Bhaduri and Lasya. Chandrayaan is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 30, 2026, with the teaser deliberately keeping its final outcome under wraps.
