AP Completes Landmark In Corona Tests

Andhra Pradesh completes a milestone in conducting record number of coronavirus tests. A landmark of 1 million (10 lakh) tests completed in the state with least positive rate. AP continues to stay top among all the states in India with the highest number of tests.

Andhra Pradesh recorded 998 new COVID-19 cases and 14 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking total number of cases to 18,697 out of which 1,0043 cases are active and 8,422 have recovered. Number of deaths due to the disease rises to 232.

With nearly 25,000 new infections in the past 24 hours, total number of covid cases in India now stand at 6.7 lakh. The total is now 6,73,165 - approximately 800 cases behind Russia, which is the third worst-hit nation from coronavirus. The number of dead stand at 19,268, while there are over 4.9 lakh recoveries.
