Vijayashanti during her hay days created a powerful impact with female oriented films and endeared herself to all as Lady Amitabh. After a long gap she made return to silver screen playing a pivotal role in superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru winning the appreciation of all.

Meanwhile, speaking about her differences with Mega Star Chiranjeevi, she said, “Blood Pressure increases due to pressures in politics. I had peace of mind while shooting for the film. It was a great experience meeting Chiranjeevi in the pre release function. Gap increased between me and Chiranjeevi after I entered politics. But all those got resolved after the event.”

But, reports are coming out that Vijayashanti is unhappy with the way her role came out in Sarileru Neekevvaru. Sources say Anil Ravipudi narrated a powerful role with good screen presence. But, during the shooting, he made changes to the role, reduced duration and screen space, giving her a huge shock.
