Baahubali 2, Not The Decade's Biggest Blockbuster

Since decades Bollywood always used to look down the South Indian films. They used to belittle Telugu films for their costumes, action, emotions etc. Bollywood directors and producers used to think in similar lines and there are many instances happening even now which prove that the thinking of Bollywood is still the same. Still they make fun of south films as Madrasis, Sambar Idlis etc.

However, South film is showing its power shocking Bollywood and slowly their outlook is changing. However, they still have the same mentality. The entire world started looking towards Tollywood after the sensation of Baahubali. Bollywood makers are competing to remake Telugu films. But it seems they are looking for South films and remake them only in the business angle. They are trying to belittle the south creativity and talent and erase them completely even now.

Now the discussion is on as to which film would be the biggest blockbuster of the decade. Yahoo India polls found that Amir Khan's Dangal released in 2016 with the collection of Rs 2000crs stood no 1 and became the biggest blockbuster. The film based on the Haryana wrestler created a sensation.

What is shocking all is though the survey included the top ten films into consideration, it did not contain the name of Baahubali 2. Though the organizers included films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, for some inexplicable reason, Baahubali 2 was not included.

Compared to Dangal, Baahubali 2 is the No 1 in the country. If World Wide shares are added then Dangal emerges the no 1. Setting aside China collections, Baahubali 2 is the no 1. However Yaaho poll announced that Dangal is the number 1. It included only Hindi films while conducting the survey. It is a worrying factor why the survey and the organizers did not take the name of Baahubali 2.
