Balan The Boy (2026) Movie: Technicians Review
Balan The Boy story is penned by Chidambaram. The main plot turns out to be very simple but he with his creativity, turned it into an intriguing one. The screenplay is gripping right from the start and the credit for it goes to Jithu Madhavan. Chidambaram starts the narration in an interesting manner at a steady pace, taking viewers into the story introducing various characters. He surprises viewers with the twists and turns that they cannot expect, as many of the scenes look natural and realistic. The interval block, climax and few more scenes and the twists involved in it turns out to be the highlight and writers should be commended for their innovation.
However, though the movie runs at a steady pace, the extremely slow narration ends up testing the patience of the viewers. Many of the simple scenes are repeated and dragged unnecessarily. Dialogues are natural and realistic. Sushin Shyam's music is impactful and he elevated the scenes with his background music. The cinematography of Shyju Khalid showed the scenes in a natural and realistic manner. He used the camera angles and color combinations and added value to the narration and had a good effect on the viewers. The editing of Vivek Harshan could have been far better. There are many scenes that are dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. Production values are good.
