Prakash Raj MOR - Shutter Remake!

‘Mana Oori Ramayanam’ is making good buzz among this week’s new releases for the mere presence of Prakash Raj, Priyamani in lead roles alongside the creative publicity posters. As we all know, Prakash Raj is a workaholic with strong command on all the good movies released and releasing in all other South Indian languages. He doesn’t mind to pick subjects for remakes as what he does in the past with ‘Akasamantha, Dhoni’ and ‘Ulavacharu Biryani.’

His current release ‘Mana Oori Ramayanam’ is also said to be a remake of 2012 Malayalam hit ‘Shutter.’ If not a complete remake, at least PR would have picked the major inspiration for directing and producing ‘Mana Oori Ramayanam.’ Actually, ‘Shutter’ is a thriller written and directed by Joy Mathew.

It’s a moral suspense thriller which happens in just two days. Priyamani plays a prostitute and the actual story begins when PR, Priyamani gets locked in a room during midnight ending two nights and one day together. We need to wait and see… how far PR bought the original essence of ‘Shutter’ out in MOR?
