What Is Exactly Happening After CM's Resign?

Kiran Kumar Reddy resigned his Cm's post on 19th February. There after, speculations were rife about president's rule and appointment of new Cm in the state. Let's go through the sequential order of events what exactly are happening in the state for the past few days.

* Minister Dokka Manikyavara Prasad revealed that the Congress party would go for the generation elections under the leadership of Chiranjeevi. Analysts felt the Congress high command revealed its intention through Manikya Varaprasad.

* Getting embarrassed by Manikya Varaprasad's words, ministers such as Botsa Satyanarayana, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Kanna Lakshminarayana, Raghuveera Reddy etc. met governor and warned that if Chiranjeevi would be made as a Cm, they would resign their posts and would create constitutional crisis.

* Soon, the governor sent a report to the union government stating there were no possibilities to select a new Cm at this juncture. He suggested the government to prefer president's rule in the state until general elections.

* In the meanwhile, many ministers and MLAs approached the high command and requested not to take the decision of imposing president's rule in the state.

* At this moment, many ministers from Seemandhra and Telangana started competing for Cm's post.

* Later, once again, the congress high command sent the feelers through Damodara Rajanarasimha that they would appoint a new Cm from one of the aspirants of Seemandhra.

* All of a sudden, minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana met Sonia Gandhi for more than 15 minutes. Analysts have different opinions on his meet with Sonia. Some say he would be appointed as the new Cm of AP, while some more say Sonia Gandhi consoled the minister for not offering Cm post to him, as some months ago there were reports that Kanna would be made as the next Cm.

* WHAT DECISION WILL CONGRESS TAKE?: The congress high command might not bend for the temporary obligations. It might be having a long vision.  So, instead of imposing president's rule in the state, they might appoint a deserved candidate as a Cm

* 'DESERVED CANDIDATE' DEFINITION: A deserved candidate must threaten all political parties and the media. He must be criticized and abused by opposition political parties. Even media also should worry about mentioning his name as a Cm candidate. Besides, he must be having popularity and  craze in all areas of the state.

* WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF DESERVED CANDIDATE NOT APPOINTED?: As every opposition party is saying, the Congress party in Seemandhra region must be satisfied with a single digit number of seats in the elections.
