What is the status of Selfish

Ashish, the nephew of renowned producer Dil Raju, is currently engaged in the promotional activities for his upcoming film, "Love Me." This captivating blend of romance and horror marks Ashish's second venture after the successful release of "Rowdy Boys." Even though "Selfish" was initially slated to be his second release, it has been put on hold for now, leading Ashish to shift his focus entirely to "Love Me." "Selfish" is helmed by the debutant director Kasi Vishal, and it features the talented Ivana, known for her role in "Love Today," as the female lead.

During a recent interview, Ashish addressed the status of "Selfish." He clarified that the project was not shelved but faced some obstacles. The team encountered difficulty in securing actor Sunil Garu's dates, and they also felt the need to rework a few portions of the screenplay. 

Consequently, the decision was made to rewrite those scenes. Coincidentally, during this period, Ashish stumbled upon the script for "Love Me." The team planned and successfully completed the shooting of "Love Me" within the intended timeline of 54 days. Ashish affirmed that, once "Love Me" is released, he will resume his work on "Selfish."

The esteemed producer Dil Raju is backing the movie "Selfish" under his production banners, Sri Venkateswara Creations in association with Sukumar Writings. The first single from the film, titled "Dil Kush," composed by the talented Micky J Meyer, has received a positive response from the audience.
