Two swine flu cases in Capital

Two fresh cases of Swine-flu were reported here on Saturday.According to health department sources, one person was admitted to Government Chest Hospital in Erragadda and the other to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad with symptoms of swine flu.

However, the officials did not disclose the names of persons, who are undergoing treatment at the hospitals. There is nothing to panic about the disease, the officials reassured.

The Health Department authorities also issued an alert to take precautionary measures to check Swine-flu. Nearly 54 people died of influenza virus in the state last year and more than 800 cases were reported.

Government Chest Hospital chief coordinator K Subhakar said the inclement weather provides conducive atmosphere for H1N1 virus to multiply rapidly.
