Arrest warrant against TDP MLA

A division bench of Bangalore High Court on Saturday issued arrest warrant against a Telugu Desam MLA in a cheque bounce case.

The court issued an arrest warrant against Kadiri MLA Kandikunta Venkata Prasad on charges of issuing a cheque of Rs 15 lakh without adequate funds in the banks.

Earlier, admitting a petition, the court issued summons to the MLA to attend the court. However, the MLA failed to turn up and could not even file a leave petition in the court.Taking a serious note on the issue, the court issued an arrest warrant against the MLA.
