Warangal, Feb 9: The pro-Telangana activists prevented the screening of films—Adurs and Bindas— in Hanmakonda and Warangal respectively.Ashok Theatre management has put up a board at the theatre stating they are not screening the film Bindas.The Jr.NTR-starred Adurs is produced by Kodali Nani, who made adverse remarks against Telangana leaders whereas Bindas star Manoj, son of Mohan Babu, is stated to be supporting integrated Andhra Pradesh.The screening of Adurs and Bindas were also stopped at Jangaon, Parkal, Narsampet and Mahabubabad.

Police made tight security arrangements to prevent untoward incidents. Even Kakatiya University Joint Action Committee called upon Telangana agitators to reject the films produced by integrated Andhra leaders.However, all political leaders of all hues came down heavily against Kodali Nani for calling names to Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader K Chandrasekhara Rao. Anticipating trouble, the theatre managements in Warangal district also stopped the screening of the films.
