KVP dares Naidu to account for his 'booty'

Responding to the tirade launched by Telugu Desam supremo  N.Chandrababu Naidu, Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao in a strongly worded ''open letter'' to the former on Tuesday dared him to establish the vague allegations.Reacting to the allegations leveled against him,  KVP shot a  five-page note to the TDP chief accusing him of stooping to canards for power.In the accusatory letter to the former chief minister, KVP said Naidu used the NTR family for his political gains.

Quoting Chandrababu’s  tactics , KVP went on to detail how the TDP supremo turned Harikrishna against his father  NT Rama Rao, Balakrishna against  his sister Purandhereswari and father and NTR against his wife Lakshmi Parvati.The letter made a mention of the financial status of Naidu before he entered politics and the wealth he has accumulated by this time. KVP admitted that his family was quite well-off even before his entry to politics, and questioned how Naidu gained his wealth in such a  short span.KVP threw a challenge to Chandrababu asking him to recollect those days when he joined the college.

"When Chandrababu  joined the degree college on a scholarship, I joined the Gulbarga Medical College by paying donation. At that time, I had a bike, which was a luxury those days. This itself showed that I was richer than Chandrababu at that time. All my present properties are directly or indirectly ancestral. I bought properties in Hyderabad after disposing off my assets  in my village," KVP claimed.
