Adilabad, Jan 8: The former Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president and All India Congress Committee (Aicc) secretary, Mr K Kesav Rao, on Friday said that the process for bifurcation of the State has begun long ago and no force on earth can now stop the formation of separate state for the region.Talking to media persons here, the former PCC chief said the process for the formation of separate state for Telangana has already begun and what is now on is only consultation with the stake holders which is part of the exercise.
“Thus no one can now block the process. The Union Home Minister, Mr P Chidambaram has also made it categorically clear that the Telangana issue cannot be compared with that of the demand coming from other states,” he explained.Mr Kesav Rao, the Minister for Higher Education, Mr D Sridhar Babu, the Minister for Information Technology, Mr Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and others on Friday came to Nirmal in the district to meet the former Member of Parliament, Mr Allola Indrakaran Reddy, who is on an indefinite fast in the town demanding formation of Telangana state.
Mr Kesav Rao is of the opinion that the media is twisting certain facts pertaining to Telangana. “I cannot blame all the news channels or newspapers. There are some media houses which are out to manipulate the facts thus diluting the demand,” he remarked.Asked what the Congress leaders are contemplating if the Centre sits on the demand for Telangana state, he said that if the process is delayed all the public representatives will quit their posts to create a constitutional crisis, he added.
