YSR Congress supporter and Praja Rayam MLA Shobha Nagireddy on Friday alleged that the State Budget-2012-13 presented by Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy in the Assembly has totally neglected former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s welfare schemes and programmes.

Talking to media persons at Assembly media point, Shobha Nagireddy stated the budget has not mentioned anything about 108 and 104 emergency services in the rural areas, the brain child of YSR scheme.

She said that the budget has also not mentioned about reimbursement of fees to students pursuing studies in professional colleges and alleged that the government was playing games with college managements and lives of thousands of students.

Though 872 mandals across the State were affected due to drought, the Finance Minister failed to mention about the welfare steps being taken up for hapless farmers, she pointed out.

Stating that the budget would not be useful for welfare of the poor, she described it as `number game'.
