Union Minister for Petroleum S Jaipal Reddy on Saturday stated that he had informed his opinion on creation of Telangana state to high command in the mini-core committee meeting.

Talking to media persons after participating in the mini-core committee meeting, Jailpal Reddy, however, refused to share his opinion on Telangana with media. In the mini core committee meeting, the leaders from the region and others shared their opinion on Telangana state formation, he said.

When the reporters asked him about likelihood of imposition of President’s rule in the state, Jaipal Reddy said the meeting not discussed anything on that subject. Except discussions on resolving Telangana issue, no other issue figured in the mini-core committee meeting, he stated.

Jaipal Reddy claimed that the High Command has been conducting consultations with all leaders to find an amicable solution towards Telangana state. He also said that the core committee did not come to any conclusion on solving the issue.

Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Textiles Panabaka Lakshmi said that the Seemandhra leaders would abide by the High Command's decision on Telangana state. She said that the development of state in all fields was their utmost priority.
