Defending Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Nagender said that the decision on Telangana needs to be taken by the Centre by consulting all political parties and it was wrong to blame the Chief Minister for the delay. He said some vested elements were trying to draw political mileage by targeting the Chief Minister on the issue.

The Minister said that the provocative statements of political leaders would worsen the law and order situation in the region and therefore, all leaders must observe restraint and peace till the Centre announces its decision on Telangana issue.
