He added that the former MP could have raised any problems or issues he had at the Congress Core Committee meetings or plenary. The former MP could have fought for his rights by staying in the party, he expressed.

Reacting on the speculation that Mr Jaganmohan Reddy will contest from the Pulivendula Assembly constituency, Mr Ravindra said the party would never object this decision.

“If he wants to enter the Assembly, no one will oppose him”, he stated. He however emphasized that this move by Mr Jaganmohan Reddy would not have any impact on the party.

Mr Ravindra also hailed the statement of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s brother and MLC YS Vivekananda Reddy to work as loyal worker till last breath for the party.

The senior leader also stated that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has taken the right decision by seeking the resignations of government advisors.

Reacting on Cabinet expansion, he said “Whether I get a Ministerial berth or not, I will stick to my demand for a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into alleged land dealings between Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation and Emaar Properties.”
