Warning the Union government not to test patience of Telangana people, Telangana Rashtra Samithi President K Chandrasekhara Rao on Monday said the Centre alone would be held responsible for any serious consequences if it delays announcing the separate Telangana state.

Talking to media persons before leaving to New Delhi for attending the winter session of Parliament, the TRS chief said that 15 days time would be given for Centre after the submission of Justice B N Srikrishna commission report on the situation in the state.

“Within 15 days of submission of the report, the Centre should start the process of carving out the Telangana state from united Andhra Pradesh,” he stated.

Taking strong objection over the statements of Director General of Police K Aravinda Rao that he would request Central forces for the State after December, KCR advised the DGP not to make such statements as it would disturb law and order situation.

KCR said he would once again appeal before the Justice Srikrishna Committee that Hyderabad was part of Telangana.

The TRS chief urged Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to stand by their words made in Parliament.
