CM cancels all official engagements

Following doctors’ advice, Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Thursday cancelled all his official engagements.

According to Chief Minister’s Office sources, Mr Rosaiah underwent a series of medical tests on Thursday morning.

The sources say that the doctors from the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences attending on the Chief Minister advised him complete bed rest for two days.

Meanwhile, the doctors said that Mr Rosaiah was responding to treatment rather well for his viral fever and his condition is stable.

“There is no cause of worry and his temperature is normal. He needs complete rest for two days,” they said.

According to sources, Mr Rosaiah may participate in the programmes scheduled to be conducted in the city.
