Star director Vijaya Bapineedu recently passed away leaving Tollywood tear struck. Vijaya Bapineedu was known for his creativity and vision. He was the one who released children's magazine Bommarillu against Chandra Mama and Balamitra. Similarly he came up with Vijaya monthly magazine against Yuva monthly magazine, which was also from Chandramama.

Vijaya Bapineedu before the launch of Vijaya and Bommarillu even came with A rated dailies. Later he came up with a magazine called Neelima. The magazine's design used to be completely different and in order to attract people, he designed its size in a different manner.

He in a broad sheet designed Jayasudha's jacket sketch and after marking the measurements, folded it accordingly and offered those sheets for free for all those who purchased the magazine. This created sensation during those days. Later he followed the same strategy in case of other actresses too and increased the sales of his magazine.
