Sree Vishnu’s Comrade Kalyan Leads Hanuman Ansh Telugu Version

Sree Vishnu’s Comrade Kalyan and Hanuman Ansh’s Telugu dubbed version arrived in theatres on October 9, 2026, but both films had different box office challenges. Comrade Kalyan opened to mixed reviews, while Hanuman Ansh struggled to attract Telugu audiences despite the phenomenal success of its original Hindi version.

According to early trade reports, Comrade Kalyan collected around ₹4 crore in worldwide gross on its opening day, while Hanuman Ansh earned approximately ₹60 lakh from its Telugu version. The figures indicate a clear opening day advantage for Sree Vishnu’s comedy entertainer.

Directed by Janakiram Marella, Comrade Kalyan features Sree Vishnu, Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shine Tom Chacko and Vennela Kishore. Its story combines romance, comedy and a Naxal backdrop. Despite a mixed audience response, the film registered a better opening than Sree Vishnu’s previous release, Mrityunjaya, according to the supplied trade report.

Hanuman Ansh, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and starring Shobhinav Satya as Neem Karoli Baba, has already amassed more than ₹428 crore worldwide through its Hindi release. However, its Telugu version reportedly collected just ₹60 lakh net on day one, reflecting the challenge of attracting audiences who may have already watched the original.

Dasara holidays could give both films an opportunity to improve their collections. Comrade Kalyan needs stronger word of mouth to sustain its theatrical run, while Hanuman Ansh will depend on renewed interest among Telugu speaking audiences. Their weekend performance should offer a clearer picture of their box office prospects.
