Hard work and dedication is the only safest route to achieve success. There are no short cuts and bye-passes to gain glory. Even if such paths are present and followed, the glory remains for temporary. Take the personal life of Sampath Nandi and it can serve a good deal of lesson for those entering into cinema industry with millions of dreams.
‘During the days when I was doing my graduation in Pharmacy, I went to Posani sir for an opportunity but he sent me back to College asking me to comeback only after completion of course. I stood in touch with him and it took no big time for me to become his student. Later I worked as dialogue writer for ‘Toss’ and then met Kannada Super Star Upendra with a script which he liked.
We shot almost the complete movie starring Upendra but the film was shelved in Telugu and Kannada languages. I struggled in Bangalore for 2 years sitting in single room with a TV and Fan. That was the real tough phase in my life but still I do not want leave my passion. When this film went unreleased, my in-laws were also worried a lot. My struggle came to an end with ‘Yemaindi Ee Vela,’ which became a sleeper hit. Then ‘Rachcha’ also happened in no time and now ‘Bengal Tiger.’ Struggles in life will teach us many lessons and one should grow up with them,’ Sampat said.
