If there is any character in the story narration of ‘Bahubali’ which caught the pulse of female section of Indian audience, then SS Rajamouli should be appreciated for proper care taken in penning of Sivagami role done to total perfection by senior artist Ramya Krishna. The way story takes off making Ramya stand as polestar saving little infant from enemies laid a powerful path for rest of story to unveil.

Apparently, Telugu critics had their own share of negatives observed in main leads but one character which got unanimous acknowledgement is that of Ramya Krishna. In fact, she stood as the ‘Royal’ symbol of ‘Bahubali.’ While Tamanna, Prabhas took lion share of screen presence in first half of ‘Bahubali,’ director Rajamouli understood the logical and commercial necessity of exploiting the stature of Ramya Krishna. So, she became pretty pivotal in second half.

At few instances, the honor of Mahishmati Kingdom was right in place only in the aristocratic appearance of Ramya while Prabhas, Rana are stared like primitive soldiers. From a glamorous image in hey days to antagonist Neelambari and then an influential, all powerful Sivagami, it’s a versatile outstretch of Ramya Krishna.
