However, production delays have triggered postponement rumours around both films. Fauzi reportedly requires substantial work, while Dada’s shooting faced a break, raising questions over their December arrivals.

Despite the speculation, industry buzz suggests neither Fauzi nor Dada is currently planning a release date change. A key reason reportedly involves their OTT agreements. Digital platforms have become increasingly strict about theatrical schedules, with release dates and post-theatrical windows often incorporated into major content acquisition contracts.

Reports indicate that postponing a film after locking its theatrical date can create complications for OTT partners, including changes to streaming schedules and potential contractual adjustments. Since both Fauzi and Dada are believed to have secured substantial digital deals, their producers reportedly have strong incentives to honour the announced theatrical timelines.

For Fauzi, director Hanu Raghavapudi is reportedly working on the ambitious Prabhas starrer, while Gopichand Malineni is steering Dada with Balakrishna.
