Mayuri Film Distributors Makes a Comeback

Mayuri Film Distributors, part of the Ramoji Group, is making a significant return to theatrical distribution after a prolonged break. The company has chosen Thella Kaagitham, a content driven film, for its comeback and is preparing a wide release across Krishna district on October 2, bringing renewed attention to its distribution legacy.
Mayuri established itself as a prominent force by introducing a systematic, corporate approach to film distribution. Its strategy involved studying a movie’s content, identifying its target audience and understanding regional viewing preferences before planning releases. The company was also known for integrated distribution operations and a reputation for fair business practices.
Mayuri’s historical reach was substantial. During the 1990s, the company created a trend by leasing theatres across several cities and operating 19 distribution offices across Andhra Pradesh. It is to be noted that Mayuri was the only company then maintaining offices across all districts, underlining its extensive regional network.
Thella Kaagitham marks Mayuri’s return with a content focused release rather than a conventional star vehicle. The film is scheduled for worldwide release on October 2, with paid premieres planned ahead of release and bookings opened in Krishna district. Mayuri’s backing has generated trade interest as the team prepares for its theatrical campaign.
